Starting Your Day
1. Login: Use your credentials provided by the clinic administrator
- View Queue: Check the consultation queue to see waiting patients
- Review Schedule: Check any appointments scheduled for the day
Conducting a Consultation
Step 1: Call the Next Patient
1. Navigate to the Queue section
- Click "Call Next" to bring in the next patient
- Review patient information and medical history
Step 2: Take SOAP Notes
Document the consultation using the SOAP format:
Subjective (S)
- Chief complaint: Why the patient came
- History of present illness
- Review of systems
Objective (O)
- Vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
- Physical examination findings
- Test results
Assessment (A)
- Diagnosis or differential diagnoses
- ICD-10 codes (if applicable)
Plan (P)
- Treatment plan
- Medications prescribed
- Follow-up instructions
- Referrals (if needed)
Step 3: Order Tests
If laboratory tests are needed:
1. Click "Order Lab Test"
- Select test panels or individual tests
- Add special instructions
- Submit the order
Step 4: Prescribe Medications
To create a prescription:
1. Click "Add Prescription"
- Search for medication from the catalog
- Specify dosage, frequency, and duration
- Add instructions for the patient
- Save the prescription
Step 5: Complete the Consultation
1. Review all documentation
- Sign the medical record (if required)
- Send patient to the next station (pharmacy/lab/cashier)
- Click "Complete Consultation"

Viewing the Dispense Queue
1. Navigate to the Pharmacy section
- View the list of patients waiting for medication
- Patients appear here after the doctor prescribes medication
Dispensing Medications
Step 1: Select Patient
1. Click on the next patient in the queue
- Review the prescription from the doctor
- Check for any drug interactions or allergies
Step 2: Prepare Medications
1. Gather the prescribed medications from inventory
- Verify dosage and quantity
- Label each medication clearly
- Prepare patient instructions
Step 3: Counsel the Patient
Provide patient counseling:
- How to Take: Explain dosage and timing
- Duration: How long to continue the medication
- Side Effects: What to watch for
- Storage: How to store the medication
- Warnings: Drug interactions or precautions
Step 4: Complete Dispensing
1. Mark prescription as dispensed
- Update inventory levels
- Send patient to cashier (if payment pending)
- Click "Complete"

Checking Stock Levels
1. Navigate to Inventory
- View current stock for all medications
- Check expiration dates
- Identify low stock items
Receiving New Stock
1. Click "Receive Stock"
- Enter supplier information
- Add medications and quantities
- Record batch numbers and expiration dates
- Save the stock receipt
Stock Adjustments
For damaged, expired, or lost medications:
1. Click "Adjust Stock"
- Select the medication
- Enter adjustment quantity (negative for decreases)
- Add reason for adjustment
- Save the adjustment
