Starting Your Day

1. Login: Use your credentials provided by the clinic administrator

  1. View Queue: Check the consultation queue to see waiting patients
  2. Review Schedule: Check any appointments scheduled for the day

    Conducting a Consultation

    Step 1: Call the Next Patient

    1. Navigate to the Queue section

  3. Click "Call Next" to bring in the next patient
  4. Review patient information and medical history

    Step 2: Take SOAP Notes

    Document the consultation using the SOAP format:

    Subjective (S)

  5. Chief complaint: Why the patient came
  6. History of present illness
  7. Review of systems

    Objective (O)

  8. Vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
  9. Physical examination findings
  10. Test results

    Assessment (A)

  11. Diagnosis or differential diagnoses
  12. ICD-10 codes (if applicable)

    Plan (P)

  13. Treatment plan
  14. Medications prescribed
  15. Follow-up instructions
  16. Referrals (if needed)

    Step 3: Order Tests

    If laboratory tests are needed:

    1. Click "Order Lab Test"

  17. Select test panels or individual tests
  18. Add special instructions
  19. Submit the order

    Step 4: Prescribe Medications

    To create a prescription:

    1. Click "Add Prescription"

  20. Search for medication from the catalog
  21. Specify dosage, frequency, and duration
  22. Add instructions for the patient
  23. Save the prescription

    Step 5: Complete the Consultation

    1. Review all documentation

  24. Sign the medical record (if required)
  25. Send patient to the next station (pharmacy/lab/cashier)
  26. Click "Complete Consultation"

Viewing the Dispense Queue

1. Navigate to the Pharmacy section

  1. View the list of patients waiting for medication
  2. Patients appear here after the doctor prescribes medication

    Dispensing Medications

    Step 1: Select Patient

    1. Click on the next patient in the queue

  3. Review the prescription from the doctor
  4. Check for any drug interactions or allergies

    Step 2: Prepare Medications

    1. Gather the prescribed medications from inventory

  5. Verify dosage and quantity
  6. Label each medication clearly
  7. Prepare patient instructions

    Step 3: Counsel the Patient

    Provide patient counseling:

  10. Storage: How to store the medication
